I understand that and I disagree fundamentally that they should wait until they “have the votes”. That tactic makes sense during normal political opposition, not when there is a literal attempt to overthrow Democracy happening.

Democrats have twice attempted to bring forth articles of impeachment against Trump in 2025 (Shri Thanedar and Al Green). It went nowhere and it will go nowhere in the MAGA GOP-controlled House. I share your anger, but until the GOP is voted out or comes to its senses, impeachment is off the table.

It went nowhere because most Democrats voted against bringing articles, they said they refused to bring them bc they “didn’t have the votes”. I echo Al Green instead: impeach every day that a president violates the constitution, commits crimes in office, or commits impeachable acts.
