President Obama spoke yesterday about the need for law firms to stand up to Trump. "Presumably, you went into the law because you believe in the law. If you are getting pressure from government saying ignore, fudge, or compromise that commitment. You have to push back."
On MSNBC you said it's time for all leaders to speak out. You mentioned heads of law firms, universities, etc. What about church leaders? Where are they? They should be talking about the abject cruelty & persecution of immigrants, the evisceration of programs that benefit the poor and sick!
I really hope they are feeling shame.

While the law might be a noble profession for some it seems that for far too long most lawyers will do anything, in any immoral way, to profit as much as possible. At least that’s the way the optics look. Any other country I’ve been in is no where near being this dominated by greedy lawyers.

actually its much simpler: when you became or become an attorney you take an oath! and you either have professional pride and integrity or not.
Unfortunately, Obama ceded the legal battlefield to McConnell & company and inadvertently helped manufacture the current court disaster. Obama was, in many ways, a fine president, but, damn, he made some HUGE mistakes which we-- the US & the world-- are still living with.

I love that the American Bar is now suing Trump...and the fact that Trump is losing 96% of its cases. Prior to corrupt Pam Bondi being AG the DOJ had a 96% success rate which just shows what a dumb ass corrupt Pam Bondi is. She is as big a loser as Trump is. I hope she loses her bar license.
