any concern that all the legal action (though necessary) could lead to DT trying to call off elections? i.e. How can you vote if districts aren't defined? OR would the lawsuits freeze the current districts until the case is resolved, thus allowing the elections to go forward if this drags out?
Not that he or his backers seem to care, but the president has no legal authority to call off elections unilaterally. Congress sets the date for states to hold elections, and elections are often administered at the county level.
Congress is GOP and they do whatever they want these days. If he says no elections, they will ensure they don't happen
