Which means that, despite my principled desire to enable voting for all people - part of me kinda wants the GOP to get their way on this for a bit, because them shooting their feet off and enabling a Dem re-capture of Congress would improve actual outcomes for the country.

with all the attacks on mail-in voting and mysteriously missing mail-ins these years it is just for the best that the left only vote in person and as early as possible. even going as far as to camp in lines for the polling stations to open so there is no need to wait in the hot sun without water

We citizens are not in charge of the mail and cannot be assured our mailed ballots will arrive on time. Not counting these is a gift to the Republicans, since it’s their man who “leads” the USPS.
Just “yesterday” Dejoy and his cronies were trying to destroy mailboxes nationwide so ppl couldn’t mail in their votes. They KNOW they are on the losing side and the very wrong side of history.
Personally... I think everyone should get the right to vote. Even when it's the GOP that realized it fucked up. If everyone that wants to legally vote gets to, and the GOP wins, so be it that's how democracy works. It really needs to be consistent across the US.
