Elections are certified by the states too, and a 1969 Supreme Court ruling established that Congress can’t refuse to seat somebody whose election was in accordance with the election laws of their state.

I'm curious how this is different from my state of Arkansas' voter id law already. I wait in line, then someone asks to see my ID (State DL), and they make me say my address, and it must match their records & my ID then I am allowed vote, never mind i had to show my ID when I registered in 2013.
