You do not want 60 million fascists on your Southern border. There has to be a better angle.

They aren't all fascists. Plus history tells us..... walls.....
Putting aside my faith that the majority of our English neighbours aren’t fascists… If we’re talking about having a country with a hard-right gov on our border, history shows that we’ll get it whether we want it or not. I’d take the option of not having the £-shop fascists govern us.
Your vision requires an international rules based order to continue, and for the hypothetical fascists to follow it which they typically don't.
Genuinely interested. Can you explain more?
I will take my country's freedom at any cost. Ireland put up with it for years & still do. Fascism lies in every country & at every border these days sadly.
Might want to review history on that issue, and look at a few maps while you're at it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b4g...
What good is it to look at maps from a hundred years ago? I have already conceded that fascism surrounds us on every border these days & it is indicative in every society. The vast majority of Scotland rejects this narrative & wishes no part in insular politics from the far right.
Who said the maps were from 100 years ago? And normalising fascism by saying it's everywhere won't make it safe. It isn't everywhere, yet. But it's growing and being nurtured in Scotland as in the rest of the UK.
The title of the video is 1933?
It's OK not to understand.
Ooo mysterious.
And that's why it's time for Scotland to leave the UK
I'm not saying that Scotland shouldn't leave the UK if it wants to. It just seems strange to welcome the prospect of England turning fascist as though that could happen without Scotland being affected, and then booting Scotland out, as if it would. Please see the original post.
I'd very much welcome decent English folk to come live here. We could send our racists down there
We have the nukes!
And they leak.
