The Oregon one was by the GOP to prevent democracy (Oregon Republicans are a minority who didn't want progressive bills to pass), this one is by the Democrats to preserve democracy. There are higher moral values than democracy, sometimes, but the Republicans gave up their morals decades ago. 🤷
Ya, I don't think they are morally similar. Just, I'm not sure if the rhetoric of "arrest and bringing back electeds" is anything new/different. Ofc, knowing these fascists, they'll find some way to escalate so....yay??
