No, people don't want bipartisanship. If you're on the left, your goal should be to pass every single piece of legislation by the thinnest possible margin because no Republican could possibly vote for it

Progressives don't want progressive legislation with some Republican seasoning. They want the most progressive legislation possible, because that's what they believe in. The problem is, Dem legislators don't believe in anything at all

No i dont think dem voters want bipartisanship, dem voters want dem legislative wins. Elected dems have to internalize that as wanting bipartisanship because otherwise they would actually have to do politics
