I believe 2/3 of congress could vote to say he is ineligible to take the oath for having engaged in insurrection, but that would mean JD would have take oath. JD seems less poisonous no matter how impossible this could ever come to pass

JD is another bought puppet with a history of pretending to be whatever getting what he wants. That makes him dangerous as well. Congress won't vote that way anyway.

That is indeed a lovely thought, although I do not believe I will see any such actions in my lifetime. At 17 when the Vietnam war protests were making a palpable difference in the country, I had more hope of real change in my lifetime than I do now at 73. Still working for change...less idealistic.
