I hate the line of questioning, but she is right that democrats need to offer more solutions for the future. But that does not mean we shouldn’t point out how utterly destructive the Trump regime has been / will continue to be to our democracy.

By what means? Republicans refused to remove him from office after two impeachments. They and the Supreme Court have handed over the keys to this country to one man. And he’s an unhinged sadistic moron.

They knew who he was, and voted for him anyway. Strategists say criticizing Trump is ineffective because maga loves him anyway, but I think those traits are actually what many of them love most about him. Except for maybe the Epstein thing, but they knew about that and just didn’t care.
