TBF, we know they've quashed USDA reports they didn't like, and they floated recomputing GDP to exclude areas like government spending that they felt didn't benefit them, so the Rubicon has long ago been crossed.

Progressives need to hammer any positive labor news as not credible for the rest of Trump’s term. He started this in 2016 by repeatedly saying that Obama’s BLS numbers were manipulated. Trump’s trashing of institutions should come back to haunt him.
