This doesn't contradict the analysis but it's so funny that Corasaniti refers to the "blue wall" when none of these states are part of it. Tells you all you need to know about the motivations in the reporting.

There's an interesting Volts episode that deals with zoning and affordability, including in NYC, and how it affects voters. Worth a listen.
It would make sense if seat losses for those four would mean deep blue states + sweeping the Wall isn't enough for majority but I don't think that's the prediction?
That’s the way I took it. If the big blue states lose seats then it’s more difficult to win. Add that in to republicans trying to rig the game through gerrymandering and you get a bad combination
I didn't 100% carefully read it, but the article bizarrely talks about flipping one of the southern states (mentioning Mississippi) while calling texas deep red. Yeah I don't know...
I will happily take action on any of those 4 blue states flipping their EC votes in 2030. Pizza slices, bottle caps, double-bubble. Name your game.
Yes I moved to Texas from New York because it was easier to build, not because I thought the fascists weren't real.
He's an inveterate "Dems in Disarray" NYT troll.
Shouldn’t increasing the total number of seats help offset this? Why don’t we hear calls for uncapping congress along with DC and Puerto Rico statehood?
