I may be wrong but I would think religion has caused more wars than anything else in history. I do agree Patriotic Education can be indoctrination by suppressing critical thinking or presenting a one-sided view of history.

Nope, it's definitely patriotism/nationalism, however it's almost guaranteed that tyrannical politicians will invoke their particular God/religion into their rhetoric and use it to compel mindless idiots into fighting their wars for them. God bless America and our troops is a perfect example of that
