I can’t crochet, knitting is all I know. I do love making socks.

I find crochet less dull and frustrating than knitting. Although I learnt basic crochet as a child and made a few hats about 15 yrs ago I only really started crocheting in 2019. Haven't knitted since!

I've never tried crocheting socks. I've knitted precisely one pair. First one took a few evenings. The second one 3 yrs, with much of that being consigned to the naughty corner for crimes of tedium. The 2nd sock syndrome hit me hard

It’s possible to knit both at once with a very long circ needle

But it's not possible for me to knit with circular needles though!I hate them with a passion! Anyway, it's all moot as I doubt I'll take up knitting again. It was never sonething I liked but was a means to an end. I can get that end with crochet which I actually quite enjoy

Good to see. I've got some Swallow wound into balls for #TAAT #socks. I'm thinking i want to finish another #WIP before I start tho. I'm 2 away from having nothing older than 2 years. (Don't tell the #embroidery WIPs!)
