Yeah it was...a strange sense of fate. I am glad that I had a chance to see him. My sister and my nephew came too. It was strange since I had no idea and so early in my new job I couldn't take any time off. But I loved every minute of it eventho he felt like I was ignoring him.
That was good your sister & nephew came too at least to keep him occupied. My parents were the same way, I primarily "work from home" so when I would go home to visit they didn't understand I still had to work. But it would have been worse for you w/a new job & since your Dad lived so far away!
