Idols on top of sensitive instrumentation. Name tags on said instruments that follow a theme (Greek gods, elements, etc.). One instrument in the corner that is being cannibalized for parts.

Hahahah, the name tags. One of my favorite parts of getting a new instrument is always coming up with a new name in the theme.

That pretty much sums it up. I do think I need some kind of instrument shrine to make offerings before running spectra Maybe a pentagram made of silica gel with MS vials at each point and a NMR tube holder in the middle all on top of my copy of “Spectrometric Identification of Organic Compounds”
