Here's the thing: people, including the fascist cohort, can smell inauthenticity like a freshly groomed terrier can sniff out day-old fish guts. The result will be utter contempt - of the kind I am increasingly thinking Keir Starmer deserves.

I mean, why go for the fake fascist when you can have the genuine article? That's what Starmer and Cooper need to get through their thick skulls. People crave a powerful, resonant moral alternative, and a powerfully made case for that alternative. Stop circling the drain with the other dregs.
