It doesn't stop there when it comes to Republicans making money from their government work; that's the entire point of the STOCK Act. Remember when Kelly Loeffler sold $20 million worth of stocks after receiving a closed-door briefing about COVID? www.npr.org/2020/04/13/8...

Nancy Pelosi didn't do what Chris Collins did, but she does have a dedicated stock tracker with a handle on the bad place with over 1 million followers that people have used to make money for themselves just by copying the exact trades she makes. www.quiverquant.com/congresstrad...

Also, guess who has opposed a congressional stock trading ban and now only supports it if the rest of the caucus does? Guess who ignores questions about it when asked about it because of all the scrutiny she's received because of how her portfolio has performed against the market?

When Nancy Pelosi’s husband makes a stock trade, more than 100,000 Americans automatically do the same. That is because they have invested in the “Pelosi tracker” via an app that clocks every trade made by Paul Pelosi, husband of the long-time congresswoman from California and former speaker of the House. Last year it delivered a 54 per cent gain, outpacing the 23 per cent rise of the S&P 500, which tracks the performance of 500 leading companies. Initial Position (December 2021): - Pelosi initially opposed a ban on members of Congress owning and trading individual stocks, stating that they should be able to participate in the

Oh, almost forgot: the article you cited lists Nancy Pelosi as the second most active stock trader in all of Congress, and 1 of only 2 members of Congress with more than $10 million in trade volume. So I'm not sure why you're so quick to offer such a flimsy but vehement defense of Pelosi on this.

Data from the platform shows that last year, the five most active traders in Congress were: - Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J., with 526 trades and $91,050,000 in volume - Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., with 17 trades and $37,750,000 in volume - Rep. Scott Franklin, R-Fla., with 69 trades and $5,993,000 in volume - Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., with 202 trades and $5,531,500 in volume - Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., with 71 trades and $4,407,000 in volume

Why do you focus on her? I don't like it but it is not illegal unless it can be proved that they benefitted from inside info as Collins did. But not this guy? www.propublica.org/article/burr...

I focus on her because she has benefitted more than all but 1 member of Congress, and because she has been against banning congressional stock trading because of how much she's benefitted from it. You keep bringing up examples of Republicans being corrupt as if Democrats can't also be corrupt.

You seem to think I only have a problem with Nancy Pelosi as it relates to this; as I've demonstrated, it's not just her. I have a problem with ANYONE in Congress benefitting from their government work. It's insider trading that would be illegal for everyone else, and it encourages corruption.

You also seem to think I refuse to acknowledge that Republicans have been corrupt in this manner. Show me where I denied that Republicans are corrupt; I'll wait. You won't find it because I never denied it; infact, I agreed with you about it and gave you another example of it.
