That’s a ridiculous assessment of how we got here.

“…all voted for decades, for a weak and underfunded education system for the lower and middle class” Is nonsense. All? Plus many have been duped due to Reaganomics and Citizens United. Add in Jim Crow. Blaming average people, and mass characterizing them is nonsense.

And yet, look around you and see where we are... Corruption, no accountability, no trias politica, a democracy of rooting for just one of the two teams, empty stammering that the Constitution is violated. Only dumb people choose this. A slow process well groomed.

No need to look around in your 5 mile radius. Your data just becomes anecdotal...look up statistics, it will be shocking.

It's a population where half does not function above 6th grade levels in reading and understanding. Second, the whole world saw that most of your voters do not understand basic concepts (and hence the word Voting Cattle) like abortion, tariffs, socialism, due process and so on. Recipe for disaster

So you blame uneducated people for their lack of education

No I blame all of US for choosing a capitalist model long time ago - different from the rest of the western world, where only the privileged have access to the best. Now the the gap is so wide that abroad US are the laughing stock.

Those of us still fighting don’t stand for the things this administration is doing. And stating that publicly and often is a form of resistance. You’re entitled to your opinion, which is why I didn’t initially respond. But it feels like you’re close to the point but focused on blaming us as a whole

Based on this response, the blame and responsibility lies with those with the means to influence and enact these things. I sure do blame the generation before me for plenty of what’s wrong. But not all of them.

You chose to build a society where everything is for sale. Your prisons, your health, your news, and so on. Now the amount of wealth gives access to governing a country. It cannot be that only a few brought you there. The greatest country in the world slogan does not leave much room for improvement

Yes, a slow process. US is basically doing sports. Only two teams and one roots for his own team, no matter what. This type of democracy hardly leaves room for grey, everything lose nuance, becomes black or white. In that system it is hard to choose for change.

Would you blame German Jews during the Holocaust? They were citizens of the countries that were ushering in authoritarianism. Grouping together an entire country based off of the portion that voted for him is an over generalization.

Grouping together an entire country ... Yes the rest of the world doesn't care about the ones that are a minority. An extreme democracy of 100 people, is when 51 decide to kill the other 49.

You don't seem to understand that I blame the US system, not a specific group. All of US chose to have an education system that was biased towards the privileged. No need to bring in Godwin's Law
