Heh, way to go UK! Glad to see the numbers heading in the right direction. Apparently in the UK vehicles are registered as soon as the dealer gets them, so for a while it was hard to tell what was happening in the UK.

The Model Y refresh may be part of the problem. It takes staying cues from the CyberTruck (which is bad enough) making it clearly a "post-DOGE" model. So there is no change of plausible deniability now - you can't just slap a bumper sticker on it & claim you bought it when Teslas were virtuous.

In the mean time, VW just produced its 1 millionth EV. Tesla went from darling EV pioneer to the electric third rail that no one wants to touch in an Elon minute. I say this as a long time Tesla owner - I’ll never buy another Tesla so long as Elon has any association with the company.
