Hi Nick, why donβt governments consider Hydro power more? Use solar to pump water up the hill during the day, and use the hydro power during evenings?
Could even use existing water towers etc?
It seems to be losing out to lithium storage, which is quicker and easier to build. But there's still a role for pumped hydro - China is going big
