Would love to see some pools left open! Surely we have *some* lifeguards sticking around town who can work a little longer (I know that lots of kids leave town in August).

We likely would if we made it easier for poor families to get their kids through the swim program to the lifeguard level. #Equity

Yes! When the rec programs got so expensive, a lot of people pointed out that they were training lifeguards and thus, we would have a shortage. Wish we listened to people who know what's coming.
