I'm so jealous. It's the only series I've ever watched back to back three times. The first time was a total mind fuck; the second it started to make sense (as far as it goes) and the third time was just to bask in it's sheer brilliance.

Loving this Allan! I shall relay this to the teen and I’m sure we will be watching next week some time. Season two definitely lacked Lynch.
The best description I've read about season 3 is that it's basically an 18 hour film. I would love to see the whole of season 3 on a cinema screen - it deserves to be seen in it's full glory. Episode 8 is the greatest thing I've ever seen on TV.
Miguel Ferrer and Catherine Coulson 💜💜😪
SPOILERS!!!!
He was dying with throat cancer and his final screen role I think
No,not at all.
Yeah, didn’t recognise the names 😄
I concur
That’s really peaked my interest. @fishy808.bsky.social has alluded to Ep8
Seconded, or thirded, or whatever. S3 Ep8 is incredible.
I'm off for a couple of weeks soon and fully intend to binge the whole series from start to finish.
That's definitely in my future as well. Might go the whole hog and read the Secret Diary of Laura Palmer too. Only read that once, but I think I'm ready for another go.
I've never read that I'll need to get a copy. Actually I might just have a one man David Lynch festival when I'm off in celebration of his greatness.
Any excuse! 😁 Secret Diary is great, but it's arguably even more harrowing than FWWM. Still worth reading, but my god... Also, there's an audiobook version read by Sheryl Lee, which I've not heard but which is apparently excellent. And disturbing.
Sold.
Oh, and also The Missing Pieces, which I really like as well ( @dannykelly.bsky.social well worth checking that out too - deleted scenes from the movie, but edited by Lynch into a whole other movie... sort of).
This is so heart warming that they didn’t ruin it. *apart from letting others take the reins in S2
Yeah, most of the second half of S2 is a letdown, but mainly because the network forced them to reveal the killer (their plan was to NEVER reveal it!) 😁 That final episode of S2 though... What a finale!
Yeah. Knew it was worth persevering. It wasn’t bad but so many plot lines that added nothing. Give me more Windom Earle and less James mending a rich woman’s car.
