Will they announce a name change to DoD today? Under the National Security Act of 1947 is when the War Department (Army, Navy) got renamed to Department of Defense. My question is, is this this a name change or are they breaking up the 6 branches that are currently under DoD’s supervision?

Today is the day that they announce that they will be using the ACME Corporation(see Road Runner) to get our bombs and weapons (befitting of those in charge).
