Obama `28!
I was a post saying “look at the turnout in Oak Ridge, TN!”
So tired of lazy Red State v Blue State framing. The real political divide in this country is rural-urban. Even Idaho has blue spots.
The turnout is still extremely impressive anywhere it happens
See also the people pretending Dallas is a GOP stronghold.
Bill Sali. LOL
Although I think ID-02 is actually the closer of the two in terms of partisanship these days thanks to the panhandle becoming neo-Nazi militia central.
You made me curious enough to look it up and 2012 was the last congressional election where ID-2 was redder than ID-1. Few factors I suspect — what you mentioned, plus the remaining blue dogs up north dying or switching parties and every Republican in Southern California moving to Canyon County.
people really have trouble internalizing that urban/rural split applies everywhere not just to making Illinois blue despite downstate being Midwestern nazis or whatever it very much goes both ways lol
guy who would be shocked to see Trump signs in rural Oregon
