Reading this brings back bad memories. I worked in this industry in the eighties and nineties and got to know many models who told me about their experiences. They were incredibly clever and naturally sensitive, vulnerable people who, looking back, had to fight for survival every day … 1/
in absolutely hostile terrain. Incredibly strong women, and for me completely incomprehensible how many of these women managed to remain positive, sensitive and creative, mostly all alone with everything, in a cold world of trauma, fear, insecurity and hunger. 2/
