There is no such thing as digitally "enhancing" photographs. There is just flawed tech adding things to a picture that are not and were not in the picture like... EVER. This is not enhancing photographs. This is falsifying them.

Falsifying may be too strong a word. It is rather „guessing the information that got lost in the noise“.
I don't think it's too strong. It may be guessing, but the result most definitely is *false* (since it falsely claims to have been "enhanced", which is absolutely not what happened).
