No one is saying that they're cool with that. Say your house is on fire & your kids are still inside. The ONLY people who show up to help are people with serious flaws. Do you tell them no thanks, I'd rather my kids burn alive than accept help from you? This arguing will end our freedom, period.
Accepting help from flawed people does not *at all* mean condoning their other behavior. That reduces people to one dimension - or two points which is even more limiting - and it's not healthy. It's a huge part of the *problem* not the solution. Splitters (the political kind not the BPD kind) suck.
