because having good internal boundaries is important and inviting potentially unkind remarks from social media strangers when you’re in crisis is not gonna help said crisis! damn

I get the intentions behind this but I also think this take kinda dismisses the fact it's a *crisis*, if they had good internal boundaries & had the mental clarity to consider the consequences of what they post then chances are they're not having a mental health crisis

Of course I can't speak on anyone else but whenever I'm really struggling & I post it on my socials, sometimes its deliberately because when I'm in that state I want to be *heard* and feel less alone, it's comforting, sure it's probably a bad idea to a more rational me but still Anywho yapping over

nah that’s extremely fair! i mean my take isn’t actually gonna stop anyone in crisis (lord knows I’ve been that guy too) but like. for their sakes i wish people wouldn’t do it publicly as it’s just spectacle to a lot of folks 🥲
