Wow, this is actually surprising. 2024 still holds the record for most flights in a single day, and 2025 is largely tracking alongside 2024 for number of flights. Is the growth of the global aviation industry plateauing?

god forbid we have high speed rail down the eastern seaboard. If you look - more than half flights are up and down the east coast.
