I've heard the story, yes...it is almost certainly a legend. The Assassins were highly disciplined, because they had to be. Going on an undercover mission that ends in killing a target (& probably ensuring one's own death right after that) requires traits most stoners don't possess.
Yeah because strong belief was the great propellant. They were very disciplined and well trained
Very true...that's one factor that hasn't changed, even with the onset of modernity & today's tech.
