You do realize jokes can be incensitive and hurtful, dont you? And people are allowed to express that hurt if a joke doesnt land right for the people being joked about?

Something tells me that name-calling isn't exactly "expressing hurt" for a joke that didn't land with them personally. I've been the "poor friend" countless times but I still find the article hilarious because it's clearly painting anyone with that sentiment as a bad person
What the fuck is happening here...
Too many talentless hacks keep thinking they're funny when punching down in their jokes when it's the worst time to be at the bottom for most people today. And somehow, they're still getting work some places.
Read the article and get back to me.
I did. And it wasn't even remotely funny. I mean, I get what they were going for and all with equality in the workplace, I guess, but there's a lot of people out there who will scroll past this, and think that this makes sense. I don't think I'm fucking Einstein or anything, but people are stupid.
You clearly read the wrong article....
I don't believe that I had, but whatever. Agree to disagree, I guess.
Exactly listen what Marc Maron is out there saying. Same thing that George Carlin believed. Real comedians punch up, not down. They go the opposite route and always be punching down in the set it will just make them look like a loser hack.
How is this punching down? Can you not tell that it's painting anyone who actually thinks this way in a bad light?
