I must say, I appreciate having such a civil discussion without being called “republican lite” or “corporate c***k sucker” or “Zionist” for having a generally favorable opinion of democratic leadership.

I don’t think they’re letting us down. I think they’re in an unprecedented bad situation of being a minority party facing a rabid, festering fascist movement, enabled by the entire Republican Party, that has sidelined Congress in favor of establishing a dictatorship. There’s no playbook for this.
