False. Republicans sunk that ship every time. Democrats never had sufficient votes for enough time to override Republican opposition.

They did. Several times. A selection of a half dozen dems sabotaged the process or voted no every time.

They had a supermajority for 72 days and two of the people caucusing with them weren’t even democrats. It’s impossible to pass comprehensive legislation on anything, let alone restructuring the nation’s healthcare system in that amount of time. Republicans were calling Obama Hitler over the ACA.
