I think what he's saying is that agents are negotiating FA contrats for players who essentially drop out of the draft so they could sign with a preferred team. Versus rolling the dice with a random round 2 selection. If that's the case, what's the point of round 2? I agree this seems odd.
I’m a little confused. Can you explain what happens if the Wolves were to just pick one of these players that already had a deal done?
