What bothers me is the fact that that's not even the best part of a "smart" / connected laundry machine The best part is the feature where you can load the washer with clothes, leave the house to do other things, and then start the washer an hour before you plan to be home

But of course, this does require the mental discipline and foresight to recognize when you're about an hour away from home and to choose to act upon that information, which you can't do very well if you're choosing to turn your brain to mush every day
