For real, I had no idea there was a canon equivalent of the old Photoshop Phriday based on his work.
I tried saying “Thomas Kinkade’s X-Men playing baseball painting” and felt like I was having a stroke.
Banshee just prepping to fly
“Have I ever flown without screaming?”
I had never heard of this piece, amazing. There used to be, (15 years ago?) a Kinkade Gallery at the Tacoma Mall we visited. That was most of my exposure to him.
I grew up in an ultra conservative baptist church and I swear every family had at least one Kinkade in their home. Absolute garbage art and trash human haha
I gained a different perspective on Kinkade when I learned he was James Gurney's freshman roommate, and that they were the two background painters on Bakshi's Fire & Ice, and enjoyed pranking the rest of the crew gurneyjourney.blogspot.com/2011/09/part...
