I’m a little surprised by how many people weren’t taught about this in high school. I’m ashamed to admit that I thought this was part of most US history classes. This makes me so sad, but I’m grateful our curriculum covered this. May their memories be a blessing. Rest peacefully.😔

Tulsan here. I’m saddened by how many people have forgotten everything they were taught in school. We learned about it in high school in the 80s. A friend of a friend wrote a book about it in 1992.
