I have some spare space in my apartment if AWS wants to rent some rack space. It's even a wetland (the ceiling leaks) if they'd like to rip that out too.
It is genuinely embarrassing for AWS. If the plan was to launch ap-southeast-6 using colo they could have done that years earlier. It was clearly not the plan.

I have slightly-less than fond memories of a 36-hour stint moving gear from shared to dedicated rack one weekend. Getting layer 2 ex-Dunedin to NZ-IX was a game-changer. (Yes I used the router-on-a-swivel chair migration trick)
