It's how trans people for years have had to acquire HRT not through the "accepted channels" and payment processors will never stop accepting crypto, it's way too lucrative, but it skips them being able to tell you what you could pay for.

Interesting point, and a good possible avenue. But again, this would be a huge change for them to implement and will take some time. If they just entirely capitulate and don't try anything like this going forward, THEN we come down on them like a sack of bricks.

Thing is: -They should have anticipated and been prepared for this, everyone has known it was coming for years. MasterCard has been doing this for literal decades. -Many of the changes they are making are permanent deletions and keeping payouts from creators, PERMANENTLY. This is unacceptable.

Agreed to number one, they were naïve to not have a contingency plan in place. I agree, if that's indeed the case. But isn't it a bit early to say that they're withholding payment permanently? Please forgive me if I missed a statement to that effect

Hmm, very concerning, thank you. Playing devil's advocate here, they mentioned this was done with forced haste. This looks like a standard automated message for these things. If they brought in an amnesty for this current situation then this can still be slightly smoothed over. But yeah, bad sign.

This game posted above doesn't even break the guidelines. They're taking a shotgun to a scalpel problem and destroying livelihoods. Expecting them to make it right is just setting yourself up for failure, and they don't deserve praise for potentially doing something right until they ACTUALLY do it
