As a historical question: 1. When did the Times recognize Hitler as a dictator? 2. When did the Times admit the Holodomer? Which editors had to leave the Times for these admissions to happen?

Well, we do know that a puff piece on Hitler's mountain retreat appeared in the Times less than two weeks before he started WWII, so they were late to the party, to say the least. www.nytimes.com/1939/08/20/a...
