My point is I don't think his approval rating matters. He's a despotic populist. You'd have to poll in the booth to gauge what is an emotional (i.e. not logical, objective) vote. I argue his approval rating doesn't matter at the ballot box. We aren't rational.
Hell, I believe, as many others, that the whole thing was rigged by Musk. There is no way he won ALL the toss-up states.
Even if that was true, he doesn't HAVE Musk anymore bc he threw him under the bus. He's throwing everyone under the bus! At this rate he's just trying to grift as much $ as possible outta the presidency before he's dragged off to Shady Acres. And Vance'll be left to take the fall.
It matters. He's already stabbed so many of his own loyal factions in the back. He's not even pretending to give AF about them anymore. And the few who remain loyal to him won't bother to show up to the polls once he's carted off to the nursing home.
