As an Oregonian, I would be ok with his if they cleared the land and built houses on them. They could sell them at cost. Selling it to corporations makes me sick , knowing that it could be put to good use or left the eff alone.

Good grief, I do. But I also see the homeless and 2 income families who can't afford a 2 bedroom 50 yr old apartment. Low income housing is gone or will be soon that will leave a high percentage of people without a way to afford a place to live But as I said, if it benefits a person in need...

Where they going to build homeless shelters on Mt. Hood? Picture the flanks of Mt Hood shaved bare as baboons ass, wildlife decimated, floods and mud slides choking streams and rivers with silt and wiping out salmon runs. Want cheaper housing? Get Wall Street, Russia and China out of real eastate.

Read the article. Look at the map. This is not some altruistic project to bring down the cost of housing. This is a straight-up corporate land grab wherein Trump sells off OUR (public) land for pennies on the dollar to his rich buddies so he can finance their tax breaks and they get even richer.
