These are the scenarios I was discussing with my husband. What is the real reason for this takeover? Obviously not crime. I also wondered if he'll shut down Congress with martial law since they are on recess.

I don't know what his plan is but whatever is happening in DC isn't possible nationwide. For ex, he sent 700 Marines to a county with 600k gun owners. He doesn't have the power to do anything about Cong as they are the Prez's oversight but he got the Speaker to close early to avoid an Epstein vote.
