A fed'l Judge in Alabama ruled in the Yellowhammer Fund's favor. The case isn't about abortion; not really. It’s about whether helpers can help people go to states where abortion is still legal & whether women are free to travel elsewhere to do things that are not legal in their home state.
Gambling is not legal in my state. If my friend drives me to Vegas and we gamble, can we both be arrested and charged when we return?
As difficult as it is to do, people might want to start thinking about moving out of those deep red states. Lower their number of seats in the House
I read your letter and am relieved to see that the judge ruled in favor of Yellowhammer. The underlying reason, the ability to *travel* and perhaps partake in an activity that is prohibited by your own state, but to be prosecuted upon return is absolutely bonkers as it is chilling.
As many cases do, what decides it is something beyond what brought it. Each case must be examined UP to a protected standard, as we pay federal taxes to reside in The United States of America. While a corruptly sat majority of SCOTUS judges now anhialates these standards at their corrupted whims.
The case could have consequences for people across the country—You don't see people challenging men leaving a state where gambling is illegal to go to Nevada for a bachelor party, a point the judge made. But women & their rights are under fire. It's time to pay attention. joycevance.substack.com

American Constitutional law in 37 States. Allow with one Parents Consent their 15 year old daughter to marry an Adult male over 21. But if that child was to toast the Union with Champagne. Would be Arrested for under age Drinking. Logical thinking 🤔 🇮🇪🇪🇺
So by Republicans logic, Las Vegas would have to shut down because people from states where gambling is illegal wouldn't be allowed to travel there and hit the casinos.
