I used to work with people being released from prison. I helped them find jobs and housing. I would say probably 90% were basically decent people who had a rough law in life. The fact that Donald Trump is a felon offends me on their behalf. He's SO MANY worse things!

He won IMO largely because SCOTUS interfered & kept the evidence against him from the public by preventing his trial from moving forward in March 2024.

It's also important to remember that when trump leaves office, the D.C. Circuit case charging him with 4 counts of conspiracy to obstruct the peaceful transfer of power can be re-filed (the case was dismissed WITHOUT PREJUDICE) The Court has already ruled he doesn't have immunity for these crimes.

His approach to that trial was unique. The jury only heard her side of the story because he didn't testify. He didn't testify because he didn't attend the trial. In effect, he invited the jury to find against him. He has no reason to complain about that verdict.

That does make sense. Ultimately, Harris didn’t lose by a lot, at least not in the popular vote. The Electoral College is always against Democrats. Ultimately, I think that she was too careful and practiced in her delivery. She defended democracy, but in doing so, defended the status quo.

Yeah, they spent a crazy amount, but didn’t Harris raise more than a billion? I think the answer is much simpler. Biden was unpopular, Harris refused to decouple from Biden, and there are a ton of bigoted people in this country.
