If you were following along with the budget bill hearing early this morning, the Democrats were correct. The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office confirms: The GOP budget would increase the deficit by $2.3 trillion in a decade, help the rich & lower the income of the lowest 10%.

It's like TFFG said, "Vote for me now, and you'll never need to vote again." They don't plan on EVER losing any more "elections". Look how Russia does it. A. 'Vote for Putin' or B. 'Vote for the guy who fell out a window last week.' "It doesn't matter who votes. What matters is who COUNTS votes.
It seems to me that the American people have extremely short memories, willing to vote for the very people who crushed them only a few short years before. Meanwhile, the GOP are extremely good at blaming the Dems for their terrible policies.
With all due respect, what makes you think there will be any chance of getting them out of power if this bill passes as is? I'm beginning to think that mid-terms may not even happen. If not, what, realistically, will be the nation's response? I cannot see anything good down the road for the U.S.
