We use chore boy copper wool to plug anything that vents to exterior. A family of skunks (Florida civic cats) got in our attic, we HaveAHeart trapped & released. Peeyewww

That must’ve been fun. I use steel wool because copper wool is harder to come by here. However, I usually try to block off anything more permanently with wood or metal.
