To me this is like the Chicago pizza debate. "It's not pizza, it's a casserole." It's delicious, I don't care what you call it. I prefer chili with beans, but chili con carne sans beans can be delicious, too. Just don't get it at Chili's unless you want instant high blood pressure from the salt.
