Alcohol is a blood thinner. It can open up airways and I appreciate the advice, but my asthma is caused by a protein imbalance from Covid.
I've had Asthma all my life, we know how to manage it and we know things they don't. (Example below) But I didn't know a protein imbalance could give someone Asthma (If you have a child with Asthma and you have fitted carpets and dust in the house - GET RID OF BOTH if you want to keep the child)
Covid 19 exacerbates Asthma by bonding with certain proteins that normally fight virus infection. The problem is these proteins aren't lowering, and they cause inflammation in the upper respiratory, rather than the lungs. This means that a majority of asthma medications are nearly ineffectual.
